The scent that started my candle brand
I found Honey Pumpkin out of season, and it stopped me in my tracks. Even though it wasn’t autumn, I knew right then I would shape my first launch around this fragrance and debut in autumn because of it. It went straight into my Signature Range and I built the rest of the collection around it.
What drew me in was its toasted sweetness. Not sugary, not cloying. Just warm and golden, blending beautifully with the pumpkin notes and gentle clove and cinnamon spices so the whole scent felt natural and comforting. It was the first time a “pumpkin” fragrance felt refined to me, and I knew it had to be the heart of my brand.
From there I did everything with Honey Pumpkin as my starting point: testing, labels, It was to become my signature autumn scent (Palm Garden was what I had in mind for the signature summer scent ;-)), and it still holds a special place in my heart. On launch day last year, you chose it in droves. That response is why this year I created another option, so you can pick the size and style that feel just right for you.
Why it smells less “artificial”
Non-toxic fragrance selection: Every oil is vetted for what’s not inside it. Our blends are free from phthalates, CMR's, parabens, silicones, PEG and endocrine disruptors.
Cleaner base = cleaner aura: We pour with sustainable soy wax and keep the formula uncomplicated so the notes stay round, creamy and breathable rather than sharp or plasticky.
Considered throw: I test for a comforting hot throw - enough to fill an average room (this of course is always dependent on candle size to room size ratio) not dominate it. Many customers say they can enjoy Honey Pumpkin for hours without that heavy, lingering feel.
The result reads like real life: warm baked honey, a ribbon of spice, a soft spicy lift and no aerosol harshness, no aftertaste in the air.
